Happy October!🎃 Monthly recap & updates

Reader! Happy October!

First things first, SEO School is OPEN for enrollment. SEO School is my 6 comprehensive, digestible, and tactical hybrid SEO (Search Engine Optimization) course for health and wellness entrepreneurs that will teach you everything you need to know about SEO so you can start ranking higher on search engines and get found by your ideal client without relying on social media and paid ads. It will be open for enrollment until this Friday at 11:59pm PT and won't open again until next Fall.

As always, the rest of this email will give you a quick rundown of last month's podcast episodes, a few Instagram posts from the month, blogs and YouTube videos from me, and any biz updates I've got. As a fun bonus, you'll also get some fun life stuff and maybe even a recipe or two.

If you're seasoned and have been here a bit, know that I am always so grateful that I am lucky enough to have a place in your inbox.🤍

Alrighty, let's jump in.

Here are the fan favs from Instagram this month (clicking the image will bring you directly to the post!).

From YouTube

I started last month and am just gonna keep going! A video a week is the goal.🤩 It would mean a lot to me if you checked out my videos and subscribed to my channel.

From My Biz

  • If you want to work with Shanté and me, enrollment for The LextroMind is on the horizon! We'll be opening up round 2 applications in October. LextroMind is an exclusive, high-touch, 9-month mentorship that combines online business coaching and done-with-you tech solutions to help brick-and-mortar health and wellness business owners launch their digital products and services with myself and Shanté. The waitlist will be the first to get the deets, so make sure you join the waitlist if you're interested.
  • If you are unaware of the services I offer, you can always check out my website or download my service brochure.

From Other Businesses

  • Anna Hartman (@movementrev) is opening up enrollment for her online LTAP Level 1 Course as well as her in-person courses this week. If you're a movement professional and you aren't familiar with her work, I highly suggest you change that. I linked her IG, start there!

From Lifey Life

  • Shanté and I finished Breaking Bad. It was great. No notes.
  • After my SEO School launch wraps up, I plan to share my little cookbook that I've started. No, I'm not making recipes, but I'm collecting all of my favorites into one book and it has me so excited. :) I have a new dessert I'll be making this week and I'll share that next month for you, or maybe in one of my Monday Minute emails.
  • Shanté and I went to Miami on a last minute trip to watch our friend, who is a professional volleyball player, compete in a tournament. The trip didn't disappoint and I'm so grateful we went. I'm not a spontaneous person and I feel like this checked the "be spontaneous for once" box 😆.

Here's what our kids did while we were gone: Rupert was king of the house and Moose went hiking in Yosemite. What a life they live!!!

Thank you so much for reading to the end of this email and thanks so much for being here.

Cheers to another month ahead!
Lex

💙PS— you know how I feel about the PS field of an email, it's always got a quick little important detail. For my monthly recaps, my PS section will give you more information on JaneApp, the sponsor of my podcast. And if you're new to JaneApp and want to get started, the code LEX1MO will get you a FREE month of Jane, so jump on it!

Your evenings and weekends should be spent with loved ones, not catching up on paperwork and admin tasks.

Jane App is a clinic management software and EMR that helps reduce the time you spend on after-hours admin work. Here are a few ways Jane can lend a hand:

  • Gather patient or client information ahead of time with user-friendly online intake forms (we’ll even send a 24-hour reminder for incomplete forms).
  • Speed up checkout by collecting patients' insurance and credit card information on your intake form, then choose to charge the card on file or send a Payment Request email or SMS post-appointment.
  • Keep your day running smoothly with SMS & email appointment reminders and automated waitlist notifications.

Visit meet.jane.app/more-time to book a 1-on-1 demo. Or if you’re ready to get started, use the code LEX1MO for a 1-month grace period on your new account.

Happy Monday, Reader and welcome to the Monday Minute! I learned a concept in grad school called "The Spoon Theory" from a patient I treated who had multiple sclerosis (MS). You can read more about The Spoon Theory here (please do). In short, the concept was coined by writer Christine Miserandino, who was living with a chronic illness. She used "spoons" to depict her finite amount of energy each day to live her life and complete the necessary daily tasks from eating and getting dressed to...

Happy Monday, Reader and welcome to the Monday Minute! Today, I want to share a DM I received from a friend on Instagram. As you may or may not know, I have monthly done-for-you SEO services and as a part of that service, I write blogs for clients. I enjoy it so much because I get to help my clients get found on Google but I also get to use my physical therapist brain (I know most people in my ecosystem know that I am trained as a Doctor of Physical Therapy, but I also have others tell me...

Happy Monday, Reader and welcome to the Monday Minute! Today I wanted to remind you about testing your processes. On a coaching call last week, one of my clients was confused about what the consumer experience would look like and "hoped" that it was good. The good news: you don't have to guess when it comes to this stuff. EVERYTHING can be tested. Whether you're a brick-and-mortar business owner or an online business owner, I can bet you have some sort of process you have each of your clients...
